In 2010 God took Maxx's heart of stone and gave him a heart of flesh. Maxx repented of his sins and trusted in the saving work of Jesus. When Maxx got to college he was discipled, and started to know God was leading him to pastoral ministry.
In 2016, Maxx graduated from Boyce College in Louisville KY, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies. Upon graduation, he and his wife Cherise moved up to Marinette WI so that Maxx could intern at Faith Church of Peshtigo. Maxx was equipped for pastoral ministry though the internship and online classes. In the Winter of 2018 Maxx completed his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Community Church called Maxx to Lead Pastor in 2019.
Maxx has been married to his wife Cherise since 2014, and in 2018 they had their first child a son, Haddon. You can catch Maxx hanging out with his family, inviting people over to eat and talk, or reading a book.
Todd’s known Jesus most of his 50+ years, but really began a daily walk with Jesus in his high school and college years, discipled by a wonderful home church and prayer and praise group in Oshkosh. Todd and his wife Wendy have attended Community Church for more than 25 years and Todd has been an elder for over 20 years.
Recently retired from a full-time career in financial management and contracting, Todd enjoys time with Wendy “empty nesting” and every opportunity connecting with their three children attending college and early careers - Jacob, Jonah and McKennah. Other favorite activities include golfing, walking, and watching sports with family and friends. Todd’s passion is sharing the Gospel through love and support for one another – “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35.
